Chicken and Peanut Recipe

500g chicken breast, sliced

1 tbsp chopped garlic

1 tbsp chopped ginger

1 tbsp chilli paste (Flavour tip: MUST be Chinese or Southeast Asian style, try your supermarket’s World Foods aisle)

1 red onion, cubed

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp Manílife Original

3 spring onions, sliced



  1. On a high heat, brown the sliced chicken breast all over (browning the chicken is vital for maximum flavour)!
  2. Once browned, throw in the chopped garlic, ginger, chilli paste, and red onion.
  3. Give these a stir for about a minute then add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and finally your Manílife Original.
  4. Fry for a few minutes until the sauce has reduced and is coating the chicken.
  5. Scatter over the sliced spring onions and serve with rice. Enjoy!
